Legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail celebrates 50 years

A wide range of cultural activities will be held to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the legendary Truong Son Trail, also known as the Ho Chi Minh Trail, which opened on May 19, 1959.

The south central coastal province of Binh Dinh has opened two photo exhibitions titled 'Duong Truong Son - Duong Chien Thang' ('Truong Son Road - Road of victory') and 'Dien Bien Phu - Ban hung ca' ('Dien Bien Phu - Epic') to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Truong Son Road (Ho Chi Minh Trail) and the 55th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954).
