Nam Hai Resort named “best destination spa”

The deluxe Nam Hai Resort in Vietnam’s Quang Nam Province was named “best destination spa” at the Asia Spa and Wellness Festival in Thailand.

A panel of judges, made up of socialites, editors of regional spa publications, tour operators and spa enthusiasts, awarded Nam Hai Resort a gold trophy at the annual Asia Spa & Wellness Festival in Bangkok from March 20 to 22, Vietnam News Agency reported.

Nam Hai is owned by Indochina Capital and managed by Graham Corp., which also manages luxury resorts in Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, Oman and the U.S.

The beachfront resort is set on 35 hectares, with 60 one-bedroom villas and 40 pool villas. In addition to a private stretch of beach, there are three pools for guests, including a 50-meter-long Olympic swimming pool, four tennis courts, a basketball court and a badminton court.

The resort’s spa, surrounded by a lotus pond, features two pavilions containing eight spa villas, relaxation areas, steam showers and changing rooms.

One night’s accommodation at Nam Hai costs between $667 and $3,329, according to booking website www.asiarooms.com.
