  Suoi Hoa Tourist Resort in Da Nang attracts many tourists thanks to its cool atmosphere   Besides the My Son cultural heritage site and Ba Na primeval forest, the central region boasts the well-known Suoi Hoa Tourist Resort in Da Nang, the region's biggest city.

 

 

Suoi Hoa, or Flower Spring, lies in the Truong Son Range and is 30km west of Da Nang, along Provincial Road 604. The tourist site is situated between mountains and hills and is always cool, with plenty of wind through the forest.

 

At Suoi Hoa, visitors can see many species of wild flowers. The sky, clouds, mountains and forests make the scenery more poetic. The places of interest include lakes and waterfalls. The Bong Lai (Fairyland) suspension bridge across the lake by the waterfall resembles a path that leads to a fairyland. Looking farther upwards from the bridge gives a magnificent view of a majestic waterfall and white foam.

In the daytime, visitors can bathe in a spring of pure blue, which can be heard babbling from a distance. They can also stroll along the stream, climb the mountain, go angling or ride a horse through the forest. With a depth of 0.5 meter, Muc Dong Lake in the center of the tourist resort is a safe place to swim and play aquatic sports.

At night, visitors can play games, sing songs and enjoy local food specialties and wine by a camp fire. The specialties include grilled pork, spring snails, steamed fish, and stewed chicken with bamboo shoots.

Suoi Hoa Tourist Resort can accommodate thousands of day trippers and many overnighters. It has 100 rooms in a stilt house modeled on the houses of the Co-tu ethnic people. Visitors can rent a large airy room by the spring for VND50,000-300,000 (US$2.85-17.15) per day.

As the rooms are situated around the lake, it is convenient for guests to bathe in the spring. Farther along the mountainside are dozens of cottages twinkling among the trees and rocks. Ticket prices are VND10,000 ($0.5)/adult and VND5,000 ($0.25)/child.
