Foreign tourists throng to Vietnam in run up to Tet

      Vietnam is set for an influx of international visitors to the country to soak up the festive mood of Tet, the Vietnamese Lunar New Year only 10 days away.

Until mid-February, around 10 international cruise vessels like Costa Allegra, Costa Marian, Seabourn Spirit, or Nautica will dock at Vietnamese ports, bringing with them a vast range of foreign tourists.

They are scheduled to call on tourist sites at world heritage Ha Long Bay, Hanoi capital, southern metro Ho Chi Minh City, Danang central hub, and Nha Trang coastal resort city.

Besides, other tourist groups departing from Thailand’s Mukdahan province with tourists on right-hand drive motorcades and driving their own motorcycles will also arrive in Vietnam via the Lao Bao border gate in Quang Tri central province.

They are set to pay a visit to former capital of Hue, world heritage Hoi An town, Danang, and other central provinces.

The caravan groups will leave Vietnam from the Bo Y border gate in Kon Tum mountainous province.
