Vietnamese awarded film screened in the US

The film screening programme is organised by the Institute for Vietnamese Culture and Education - a non-profit non-government organisation established in 2000 in New York with the aim of promoting Vietnamese culture through the publication of magazines in Vietnamese and the organisation of art performances, seminars and exhibition as well as cultural and educational exchanges between Vietnam and the US.

The film “Moon at the Bottom of the Well” of Director Nguyen Vinh Son, won a Silver Kite Award of the Vietnam Movie Association in 2009. The main actress Hong Anh won a best actress award at the 5th Dubai International Film Festival in December 2008.
