Five-star Costa Classica cruise ship comes to Vietnam
17:00 01/04/2009 ![]() The cruise ship arrived in Vietnam for the first time with 1,600 international visitors from Italy, France, Spain, Germany and the UK on April 2. These visitors will tour HCM City – Nha Trang – Da Nang and Ha Long Bay.
This is the official experimental trip before Costa Classica’s periodical tours to Vietnam are scheduled to begin next season. The vessel is 220m long, sufficient to serve over 2,000 visitors and sailors. This is another cruise ship of Costa Crociere S.p.A group (after Costa Allegra and Costa Marina cruise ships) bringing international tourists to Vietnam, in cooperation with Saigontourist.
Costa Classica’s visitors will stay in HCM City for two days, April 2-3. On April 4, they will go to Nha Trang and to Da Nang on April 5.
The ship will travel to Quang Ninh to visit Ha Long Bay on April 6-7.
Costa Crociere S.p.A is the largest cruise ship company in Europe and a member of the world’s largest cruise group Carnival Group. The number of foreign visitors coming to Vietnam by Costa cruise ships is on the rise.
