Phong Nguyet Café is the sort of place where the ambience hits you right away and lingers around unobtrusively.
Phong Nguyet means the moon and the wind, and the small café takes care that the place has a vibe reflective of the name. Located on a quiet section of Ho Chi Minh City's Tran Quoc Thao Street, the café always feels cool, whether it is sunny or rainy outside. Because of its small area, quiet space and soft music, customers seem to walk and talk more gently than usual. The café has wifi Internet service so guests can go online while enjoying a cup of coffee. Red and brown are the main colors in use at Phong Nguyet, adding a hint of mystique that the name promises. The owner of Phong Nguyet Café is Quynh Le, a musician. In the afternoon, customers can see Le help singers practice her new songs and are free to enjoy the "live show." Phong Nguyet is separated from the noisy world outside by a wooden door, and entering it involves walking along a small "path" that crosses a lake with fish and an artificial mountain. The sense of quiet is deepened by the dim light of lamps and candles. Tables are put far enough from each other to create privacy for customers. Separate sections for groups of five or more are also available. A wooden staircase leads to the loft. From this simply decorated area, customers can look all over the café. What makes Phong Nguyet different from the other cafés in the city is also the special flavor of its coffee, which has a dash of liquor in it. This is not to be missed. Once you try it, you will wish to return to enjoy the coffee, and your enjoyment is enhanced by the ambience in which it is served. Phong Nguyet Café is located at 63B Tran Quoc Thao Street, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City. It opens every day from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Reported by Diem Thu Source : thanhniennews.com
