Vietnam airport to get facelift

      Cam Ranh airport in the central Khanh Hoa province will be refurbished to keep pace with the rapid passenger and cargo growth, according to the Central Airport Authority has said.

The airport, built before 1975, does not have lights to serve night flights, and can only handle 12 flights a day.

Construction of a new terminal is expected to start later this month at a cost of VND200 billion ($12.5 million) and a runway lighting system at VND26 billion.
