Vietnam welcomes 370,000 foreign tourists

      The Vietnam National Tourism Administration said 370,000 foreigners visited the country in the first month of the year.

It expects the number to increase next month with foreigners and Vietnamese expatriates arriving for the Lunar New Year (Tet) festival.

Vietnam has inked a tourism cooperation agreement with Italy and has agreed in principle to transport agreements with Laos and Thailand to allow travelers between the three countries.
