Work begins on new Nha Trang airport terminal

Construction of a terminal began Tuesday at Khanh Hoa Province's Cam Ranh Airport at a cost of VND197 billion (US$12 million).  

The Central Airport Authority said the new terminal would be equipped with an aerobridge system, car park, and other facilities.

The construction is expected to finish at the end of 2009.

The former military airport, situated 30 km south of Nha Trang City, began to be used for civilian purposes only in 2004.
