World-famous chef to put Vietnam tourism on the map

      Martin Yan, commonly known for his cooking show Yan Can Cook, will arrive in the central coastal city of Phan Thiet on Jan. 17-18 to help popularize Vietnamese tourism.

Yan and his entourage of 69 members from the Hong Kong Cinema Association will make a two-day trip to the capital city of Binh Thuan province to produce posters of Vietnamese images.

Yan would join in films and photographs taken at the city’s famous landscapes and participate in some daily activities like going to the market.

Martin Yan is a Chinese-born American chef and actor who hosts the award-winning national cooking show Yan Can Cook.

He is also certified as a highly respected food consultant, a cooking instructor and a prolific author with some 26 cookbooks, including the award winning Martin Yan’s Feast and Martin Yan’s Asian Favorites.
